Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the Valley

Cinco de Mayo celebrations this year will be amped up because the holiday falls on a Saturday. There are a ton of festivals and events happening this weekend, check some of them out below!

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

El Mirage, May 4th

El Mirage will hold its annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Gentry Park, 4010 N El Mirage Rd, on Friday, May 4. The festival will have mariachi and other musical performances, traditional dances, a kids area with pony rides and games, and a community market. There will also be food trucks and a beer garden serving beer and margaritas. Admission is free!

Cinco de Mario

Scottsdale, May 5th

Join Mario Lopez as he hosts Scottsdale’s first Cinco de Mario, a festival blending traditional Mexican elements with a fun, party-like atmosphere. The festival will feature mariachi bands, live performances, a derby viewing area, food trucks, rose wine garden and more! General Admission is $15 online and gives you access to the festival. Additional tickets can be purchased online.

Arizona D-Backs Cinco de Mayo Fiesta vs. Houston Astros

Phoenix, May 5th

The Arizona Diamondbacks will take on the Houston Astros this Saturday. Before the game check out the Cinco de Mayo festival outside Chase Field! The festival will include food trucks, live music, a beer garden, salsa tasting and more. The fiesta begins at 2:00pm and ends at first pitch. This is a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and your Arizona Diamondbacks!

Phoenix, May 6th

Phoenix is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its annual Cinco de Mayo festival this year, so they are pulling out all the stops. The festival will feature mariachi bands, musical performances, Lucha Libre wrestling, and the best in Mexican cuisine, including a 125-foot burrito! Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl

Scottsdale, May 5th

Hit up some of the best bars in Old Town Scottsdale this Cinco de Mayo. Crawl spots include Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, El Hefe, Goodwood Tavern, Old Town Gringos and Wasted Grain. Ticket prices are $20.
