March Madness Begins March 11th
Now that it’s March, the madness can begin.
The annual basketball tournament begins with Selection Sunday on March 11th, when the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee reveals which 68 teams have made the field for that year’s basketball championships. In addition to the selection, the 2018 NCAA March Madness Selection Show, televised on TBS at 6pm ET, will feature the exclusive live first-time announcement of pairings for the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
Since the tournament began in 1939, UCLA has the most titles with 11, followed by Kentucky with eight and North Carolina with six.
Will our own ASU Sun Devils make the tournament? According to the latest projections for March Madness by USA Today, ESPN and CBS sports ASU is in a precarious position. The Sun Devils are currently sitting at the number 11 seed in the Midwest entering their game against Colorado tonight. Let’s hope the Sun Devils can fight their way in!
